Job Summary

The Account Director, Social & Programmatic, will lead the strategic direction and execution of programmatic and social media campaigns for key accounts. This role is designed for a data-driven, client-focused leader with deep expertise in programmatic buying, social media platforms, and integrated digital strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategy, planning, content, creative, and analytics, to deliver impactful campaigns that align with clients’ business objectives and ensure exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities


Account Leadership

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal teams regarding programmatic and social media strategies, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize comprehensive programmatic and social media strategies tailored to meet clients’ unique business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, proactively recommending innovative solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness.


Strategic Development & Execution

  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated programmatic and social media plans across platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Oversee implementation of campaigns across display, video, native, CTV, mobile, and paid social channels, ensuring seamless integration between programmatic and social strategies.
  • Use advanced audience segmentation, including behavioral, contextual, and account-based targeting, to deliver highly personalized campaigns


Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of programmatic and social media specialists, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality work output.
  • Partner with creative and analytics teams to align campaign messaging with targeted audience profiles and measurable KPIs.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure programmatic and social strategies integrate with broader marketing initiatives.


Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights to improve ROI across programmatic and social channels.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ad tech innovations, and platform updates to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Proactively test new formats, features, and tools across programmatic and social platforms to enhance campaign performance.


Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver comprehensive campaign reporting, clearly communicating the impact of programmatic and social media efforts on business objectives.
  • Present post-campaign analyses, including learnings and recommendations, to clients and internal teams for future campaign strategies.


Qualifications


Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in programmatic advertising and social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a client-facing or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale accounts, with a focus on B2B and integrated digital campaigns.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk) and social platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Familiarity with ABM tools (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus) and social insights platforms is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating sophisticated media strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
